| We are a local lodge
affiliated with IAM District 26. Local Lodge 1746 received its
charter on June 9, 1919. We represent approximately 2900 members
including 500 retirees. Some of the industries we represent
include, heavy duty equipment manufacture and repair of
construction equipment. Protecting your right to fair working
conditions, pay, equality, safety and training are rated high
among our priorities. The Machinists Union believes in playing an
active role in the community, and local charities.

Meeting Schedule
Union Meetings are held on the second Sunday, of each month at
11:00 a.m. at the LL 1746 Union Hall, 357 Main Street, East
Hartford, Connecticut 06118.
Stewards Training Meetings are held every Monday
at 2:00 & 4:00 p.m. at the LL 1746 Union Hall, 357 Main Street, East
Hartford, Connecticut 06118.
Retirees Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at the LL 1746 Union Hall, 357 Main Street, East
Hartford, Connecticut 06118.
